And that should tell you all you need to know about its reliability.

Kinja'd!!!

I was on my way back from running some errands when my dad called, the new Jag has crapped out on him...again. This thing is gonna be the end of me. This time, it Jagged and Jagged hard. Full on electrical meltdown. The throttle pedal would barely do anything, the transmission went into limp mode, DSC unavailable, TC light on, parking brake fault, and an engine management system fault in the information center. My money is on the body control module, probably. Who knows. It’s just gonna be insanely expensive. Oh well, at least our Indie Jaguar mechanic is good...really good.

Oh, and the first tow truck state farm roadside assistance dispatched to get the car had an accident on the way to him. So much for the 7:00 Kong showing...

From everything I heard about Jag problems, it was historically the electrical system that was the bane of the brand. So, if you could replace all the wiring, would you have a reliable car?

Kinja'd!!! HFV has no HFV. But somehow has 2 motorcycles > Land_Yacht_225

The first thing you need to own a Jag is a good Jag mechanic.

The first one. S-Type is the model. R is the trim/package.
